In July 2010, Deer Hill is honored to host the 7^th annual Essential Waldorf Conference, sponsored by the Waldorf Education Association of Southwest Colorado (WEASC), and featuring Eugene Schwartz. We value our ongoing collaboration with the Waldorf community, which manifests through this successful conference, and the many Waldorf school groups who visit us each year for custom-designed wilderness and service expeditions.

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful 128-acre Basecamp facility in the pastoral Mancos Valley, situated between the mountains and canyons of Southwest Colorado. In this tranquil setting of pinion and juniper forests, meadows, hiking trails, and a swimming pond, conference participants are rejuvenated and inspired. We provide conference attendees with lodging, healthy and delicious meals, and indoor and outdoor spaces to work and relax, including a large, strawbale-constructed “green” Meeting Hall, perfect for singing, movement, and the visual arts.

Each conference attendee must register directly with Deer Hill for their food, lodging, and transport package, using the registration form packet below.
