Deer Hill is an expedition company with the staff, equipment, permits, and connections to design and lead a wilderness or service program suited to your specific interests and needs. We are not a tour operator who puts together a series of trips with various subcontractors. We design programs with you, exploring and incorporating your goals and objectives to make it the most meaningful experience possible. AND we will do it for you!


Activities can include any combination of whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, backpacking and rock climbing. We match specific activities in specific environments with the skill levels and ages of your students/members to assure challenging, yet achievable goals. Deer Hill is renowned for its meaningful service projects with communities in the Navajo, Hopi, Zuni and Ute Nations. The cultural interaction that takes place during these service projects is an extraordinary learning opportunity that will broaden the hearts and minds of all participants.
